Spear marked by Vishhal Chand Mehra, a fashion enthusiast and an alumni from the famed Central Saint Martins, London; Rivarchand Entertainment is his adrenalin rush aside from the nuances of business.

Hailing from a family which has patronised art and music where ‘baithaks’ were a regular affair, he has seen the days where renowned performers would resound dance and ragas in their ancestral home.

Rivarchand Entertainment was born as early as when he was in class six or seven and created the name RIVARCHAND, where each letter stands for the first alphabet of the names of his family members.

He knew then what he wished to live through this label celebrating art, dance, music, culture...that which knows no boundaries.

Design Weekend is a fresh concept created by Rivarchand Entertainment. A trademark event, it brings within a haveli’s beauty, the artistic creations of designers under one roof. Conceptualised to showcase clothes, accessories, jewellery, homeware, art and artefacts; it is an amalgamation of architectural grandeur and creative upheaval with the haveli dressing itself as a boutique for the two days.

The first Design Weekend saw its unveiling at Ranjit’s SVAASÁ post a happy morning drizzle on the weekend of the 14th & 15th of November with a footfall of over 400 fashion enthusiasts. Sparked with the idea of bringing in a lifestyle, collections of eleven designers were beautifully nestled across various nooks and corners of the haveli adding to the culture of lifestyle and heritage.
